Every JK Wrangler Needs a Lift and Bumpers!
The latest Jeep coming out of our shop has a little different style than we are use to. Brought to us by a very loyal customer, we knew we wanted to make the right finishing touches. This Jeep is setup to be driven to the trails, through the trails, and back home.
We started off with a brand new 2013 Jeep JK Rubicon 4 Door and decided to spice it up a little with a Wild Boar Fast Back Top. The Fast Back really requires a double take when this Jeep is cruising down the road.
For reliability and great off road performance we installed a Rubicon Express 3.5″ Lift Super-Flex Short Arm Suspension System with Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shocks. This kit assembles very easily and requires No Cutting or Welding so you can easily change it out to a long arm kit down the road when it becomes a trailer queen. J.E. Reel was the driveline of choice for this Jeep along with an exhaust spacer making sure this JK will have Zero issues down the road. We have installed a few of these Rubicon Express Super Flex kits before and they drive and work flawlessly.
Now, we couldn’t leave the Orange Crush naked. We worked with our good friends at Poison Spyder and outfitted this JK with a Brawler Lite Front Bumper and Skidplate combo and a Rock Brawler Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier. With everything powdercoated satin black it really accents the awesome Orange Mopar uses. Future plans include Rocker Knockers and maybe some matching fenders. Inside the front bumper is a top of the line TJM 9,ooo lb Stealth Series Winch ready to work. The TJM winches include synthetic rope and a wireless remote, you can’t go wrong with that.
This Jeep was going to be seeing mountain highway roads and many trails so Rigid Industries L.E.D. Lighting was an obvious choice for some added lighting. Paired with the Poison Spyder winch mount, a 10″ Rigid E-Series LED light mounts conveniently right onto the winch. You can also see a pair of Rigid Dually D2 LED Lights mounted just below the windshield with Poison Spyder light mounts.
Lastly, finishing off the look of this Jeep JK is a set of Method Race Wheel Fat Five Black 17″ Wheels wrapped with 35″ Falken Wild Peak A/T tires. The Falken Wild Peak is a great handling tire on road and provides excellent traction in the dirt and on the rocks. This completes the Orange Crush for now, and brings one more satisfied customer. Do you have a friend wanting to build a JK? Then, send them this build post and spread the word.
