BLAKE BAGGETT #4 – 450 SX Class
Blake Baggett started off his 2017 season on a high note with a holeshot and an awesome 2nd Place finish in the first 450 heat race of the year! This was definitely a confidence booster for Blake coming into the opening round. Unfortunately, the Main Event didn’t go as well for Blake. His starts proved to be on point in both races. After a solid 5th place start in the Main Event, the front end would wash out in the turn after the whoop section about 2 minutes into the race. He got up and charged hard from the very back of the pack to sacrifice as many points as possible and ended up with a 14th place finish. Blake is feeling great on his Rocky Mountain ATV/MC KTM 450 SX-F and it definitely shows. Be sure to keep an eye on him this season as he is sure to come out swinging week after week.
DAVI MILLSAPS #18 – 450 SX Class
Davi Millsaps proved to be a contender in the first round of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross season as well. After struggling to get through the pack in his first heat race, he would have to head to the Semi where he would lock in a solid 2nd Place finish. In the Main Event, Davi Millsaps would pull a solid 4th Place start right in front of teammate Blake Baggett. With a stacked class of riders in the 450 class, Davi put in a solid 20 minutes and ended up with a 7th Place finish in the first Main Event of the season. We are excited to see Davi charge toward the front of the pack this weekend in San Diego for Round 2 of the 2017 Supercross Season.
BROC TICKLE #20 – 450 SX Class
We are also proud to be a part of Broc Tickle’s program for the 2017 Supercross Season. Broc has proved to be a top 10 finisher and continues to charge hard and improve week after week. The determination and mindset from Broc is always great to see. After finishing just one spot out of the Top 4 to transfer to the Main Event in the first heat race, Broc would head to the 450 Semi where he would take the win and a spot in the Main Event. In the Main Event, Broc would have to charge from the back of the pack after being pinched off in the first corner. With an impressive charge through traffic, he would move forward from 19th Place up to 12th Place. With just under 3:00 + 1 lap to go, Tickle would make a mistake and drop back down to 16th Place where he would finish off the Main Event. Tickle is ready for San Diego where he will look to regain confidence with a strong finish in the 450 class.
