Blake Baggett got a great start in his heat, as he lead the field into turn one and rounded the first turn in 3rd place. Blake held off the riders behind him, to cross the finish line in 3rd place. Blake started the main event inside the top five and moved into 4th in the first few laps. He would ride a solid race, working his way into second place by mid-way through the laps. Blake made a mistake and went down late in the race, but quickly remounted, sliding back one spot to take the checkered flag in 4th place. Going into the last round, Blake holds 5th place in championship points.

“I rode well tonight” said Baggett. “I felt good tonight. The track was a bit tricky and I just made a little mistake that cost me a podium spot. I’m looking forward to finishing the season strong next week in Las Vegas.”

Justin Bogle started his heat race with a launch out of the gate to round the first turn in 2nd place. From the beginning of the race, Justin would ride solidly as he put pressure on race leader Eli Tomac, eventually forcing a mistake to take over the lead. Leading the field, Justin pulled a gap and took the checkered flag for his second heat race win of the season. He got another good start in the main event, but collided with another rider in the first turn, collecting a hard stinger to his hand. He went down soon after while still bunched up in the pack, damaging his bike too much to continue. It was an unfortunate series of events that caused the end of Justin’s race, since he was mentally ready for a podium coming off his second straight heat race win.

“Wasn’t the night I expected,” said Bogle. “ I was feeling it tonight and felt good to get my second heat race win of the season. It was unfortunate how my main went, as I felt I could have been up there battling for a podium spot. I’m looking forward to Las Vegas and ending the season on a high note.”
