As we inch closer to the end of this year’s Supercross season, SoCal SuperTrucks backed Team RMATV/MC rode strong in round 15 this past Saturday in Foxborough, MA. The daytime race saw Blake Baggett return to the top five with a 4th place finish, Benny Bloss took 14th and Anthony Rodriguez broke into the top ten, finishing 8th.

Blake Baggett entered into the Foxborough track willing and ready. He squirted out of the gate in his first heat, just missing the holeshot. He would go on to battle for the lead throughout the race, but ultimately lose a position, but still podium. Baggett would get another great start in the main event that put him within the top five early on in the race. He kept on charging, and would battle his way up to 4th place by the midpoint of the race. Keeping his lines, and staying focused, he held off the competition, and crossed the line in that position.
“I felt good out there today,” said Baggett. “My starts again were there, and I rode aggressive while being smart. The track was brutal today, so it was important to hit my marks every lap and stay consistent. I’m looking forward to the last two rounds and finishing off the season strong.”
Benny Bloss ran into some difficulties in Massachusetts. Due to a 9th place finish in his heat race, Benny would start the main event with a poor gate position, putting him back deep in the pack early on. Then, a problem with a downed rider would send him all the way to the end of the field. He regrouped, and persevered, making his way through the field and eventually up to 14th by the time the checkered flag flew.
“It was a frustrating weekend,” said Bloss. “I felt good out there and felt that this was my type of track. It was unfortunate that I had an issue on the first lap as we could have had a top ten ride today. I’m ready for the last two rounds to put it into the top ten and finish the season on a positive.”
Anthony Rodriguez leaped out of the gate in his heat race with a great start. That, along with hitting his lines, and putting in fast laps got him a 2nd place finish. Although having a great gate pick for the main event, Anthony started about mid-pack. This didn’t stop him though from working his way all the way up inside the top ten, and cross the line in 8th.
