Entering the second to last round, Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC headed to just outside Washington D.C. as round eleven of the 2019 Pro Motocross Championship visited Budds Creek MX in Mechanicsville, MD.
Benny Bloss launched out of the gate in moto one to start inside the top ten. The #29 rider would continue to move forward, taking the checkered flag in 7th place. In Moto two, Benny found himself outside the top ten early in the race. In the heat of the day, he would work his way to 11th place at the checkered flag, earning him 9th overall for the day.
“I rode well today,” said Bloss. “I had one of my best starts this season in the first moto and rode strong out there. The heat made it tough in the second moto and I didn’t make my move to the front quick enough. I’m looking forward to next weekend and finishing off the season strong at Ironman.”
Justin Bogle’s moto one started off strong, as he lead the field out of the first turn to secure the holeshot. While he would battle inside the top five early in the moto, Justin would feel the effects of the hot weather and slid back through the field holding on to finish in 19th. With his health in question, the decision was made by Justin and the team to not line up for moto two ending the day with 21st overall.
