Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC decended upon the pacific Northwest for round nine of the 2019 Pro Motocross Championship at Washougal MX in Washougal, WA this past weekend. With Blake Baggett sitting out this round, team riders Justin Bogle and Benny Bloss were ready to hold it down for the team.
Justin Bogle did not get the greatest of starts in Moto One, as he finished the first lap outside the top twenty. He would go on to put in a charge through the field and work his way up to just outside the top ten to finish in 12th place at the checkered flag. Justin came back in Moto Two with a much better start putting him inside the front pack. He put up the good fight, battling within the top ten throughout the moto finishing 11th, and finishing 11th overall for the day.
“It was a good day out there,” said Bogle. “I didn’t get the best start in the first moto, but I found my rhythm in the second moto and rode well I’ll take this break to recharge and come back strong at Unadilla.”
Benny Bloss’ weekend didn’t go nearly as planned. He went down hard while working his way forward from a bad start in Moto One, forcing him to exit the race. Benny and the team decided to sit out the second moto to heal up and be ready for Unadilla in two weeks.
