Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Rolls Into Glen Helen Raceway August 4th & 5th

Corona, CA – (July 31, 2012) Off Road Racing goes “Primetime” August 4th and 5th, for Rounds 9 & 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, under the lights at the 4 Wheel Parts Off Road Nationals presented by Canidae All Natural Pet Foods at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA.

Bring the whole family out to enjoy the challenging and fan-friendly Glen Helen track and experience all of the high-flying, 850+ horsepower, full-contact competition in the first nighttime race of the season. Series superstars: Brian Deegan, Carl Renezeder, Rob MacCachren, Jeremy McGrath, Kyle LeDuc, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Rodrigo Ampudia and Carey Hart are among the top drivers that will be going all-out in their quest for victory.

Known for its intimidating natural terrain, the illuminated Glen Helen Raceway is tight and fast, requiring the drivers to be aggressive yet precise. Huge jumps and highly technical obstacles will not be the only tests they will face. Adding to the pressure is the extremely tight points battle raging between the competitors in all classes. Each driver is gunning for critical championship points every time the green flag drops, intensifying the door-to-door battles on the short course track.

Kids 5 and under are free with a paid adult general admission ticket. The venue also features an exciting Midway Area, where fans can meet their favorite drivers and check out the fun-filled vendor’s displays.

The entire season of the Pro Lite and Pro 2 classes of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will also be broadcast every Sunday in 2012 on the CBS Sports Network at 8:00pm ET/5:00pm PT.

  1. Cant wait to see the action, also going to be at the Chuck Strange (SCORE 44) celebration of life Friday evening…

  2. Can’t wait to go to the races, my favorite racer is Rob Mac! But a lot of young drivers such as Jessie Johnson are starting to get notice a lot, and will be future champs in no time!

  3. Hard to pick a favorite but anxious to see how the young, up and comers like Jessie Johnson, Noah Fouch, Sheldon Creed, Bradley Morris, Brooke Kawell and the always impressive RJ Anderson finish this weekend!

  4. I’d like to see Jessie Johnson do some damage this race. It’s nice to see Speed Energy as a new sponser in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.
