How to Lift a New 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 35″ Tires the Right Way!
The all New 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD gets a raise straight from the start thanks to CST Suspension and their 6″ lift system. The 2015 Silverado 2500HD got a face lift to match the 1500 trucks but keeps the same great heavy duty suspension as its predecessor. This Chevy was brought to us with only 10 miles on it and was begging for 35″ tall tires.
We started this 2015 Silverado 2500HD by installing a 6″ lift by CST Suspension with CST’s dual front shock system. The heart of the CST Suspension lift is their strong one-piece sub-frame design with heavy duty steel fabricated spindle uprights. CST utilizes a fabricated spindle to allow for minimal change in track width. This 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD will ride smooth with CST’s 2.0 Remote Reservoir Dirt-Series shocks on all 4 corners. CST valves the shocks specifically for the truck to provide the best ride possible for the lift and the heavier off-road tires. After lifting your 2015 Silverado 2500HD with a 6″ CST Suspension lift you can clear a 35″ tall tire with no rubbing issues. The wheel of choice for this Chevy truck was BMF Wheels 20″ Novakane wheels in Death Metal gloss black finish which provide a deep lip without creating rubbing issues. BMF Wheels fit lifted and leveled full size trucks perfectly and provide aggressive styling that is unmatched. Tire of choice was the 35″ tall by 12.5″ wide Toyo Open Country AT2 due to its smooth and quiet ride quality and sturdy 10 ply construction. It’s amazing that Toyo is able to give a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty with this massive truck tire. To help finish this 2015 Silverado 2500HD off after adding the 6″ lift suspension and 35″ tires we installed N-Fab black powder coated side steps. The N-Fab steps give a clean look that tucks nicely against the bottom cab of the truck and gives a nice step inside. An additional benefit by adding the steps is that they help hide the unsightly DPF reservoir tank on the outside frame rail. This new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD went together flawlessly and really should make you want to trade your truck in for a new one!
