SoCal SuperTrucks Backed Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC traveled south as the second round of the 2019 Pro Motocross Championship series made it’s return to Southern California’s Pala Raceway since 2011 this past weekend.
Blake Baggett started out the morning by setting the 5th fastest lap in practice, then timed the gate perfectly in moto one, leading the field into the first turn to grab the holeshot. Early on in the race he would then find himself under attack from the rest of the riders, and shuffled back to 2nd. Then after a pass by Anderson he dropped down to 3rd. Blake fought back, passing Anderson for 2nd and then ran Roczen down quickly to battle for the lead as they headed into the third lap. Blake would run into something in the track headed into turn one that was so solid, it bent his front wheel, and more forcing him to stop for a front wheel change in the pits. Unfortunately, he jammed his throttle wrist in the impact as well. He would go out and race Moto 2, but the pain in his wrist from the first moto crash proved too much to stay with the lead pack. Blake would continue till the end to grab what will be critical championship points come the end of the season.Continue reading Baggett, Bogle Tough It Out at Pala MX | SoCal SuperTrucks Supported Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Race Report
