Round 10 of the 2019 AMA Supercross season was a hometown race for Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC -KTM-WPS at the world center of racing, the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida this past Saturday night.
Blake Baggett came into Daytona confident, ready to put his KTM 450SX-F FE out in front, and that’s just what he did! He grabbed traction straight out of the gate in his heat race, leading the field into the first turn to secure the holeshot. Soon he would find himself being challenged for the lead, falling back into second before launching it off the wall jump to make the pass and re-take the lead. Blake pulled a sizable gap, and ultimately taking the win.
It was a podium night for Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC -KTM-WPS as round nine of the 2019 AMA Supercross season headed to Atlanta, Ga and Mercedes-Benz Stadium this past Saturday night.
Blake Baggett came into Atlanta ready for battle! From the start of his night he was at the front of the field. Starting with his qualifying heat, Baggett led the pack into the first turn to secure the holeshot. He rapidly pulled away, hitting his lines every lap and showing confidence on the technical track. He never gave up control of the lead until he took the checkered flag for a wire to wire victory. He brought that speed into the main event, rounding the first turn in third place. Blake stayed on the gas but rode a strategic race, moving into second halfway. He then started to close the gap late in the race, pressing Cooper Webb for the lead. After that late charge, he crossed the checkered flag in 2nd place.
It was a tough night for Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC -KTM-WPS as round six of the 2019 AMA Supercross season traveled to US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN this past Saturday night.
Blake Baggett started the day looking fast on the Minneapolis track as he recorded the 5th fastest time of the day in qualifying. In his heat race he would rocket out of the gate and round the first turn inside the top three. Blake hit his lines every lap and rode strong to finish 5th, transferring straight to the main. Another great start in the main event had Blake rounding the first turn inside the top four. He would ride a calculated race, keeping the pressure on Ken Roczen for over ¾ of the race until making his move towards the front and for 3rd place. His night would take a turn for the worse, however, when he mistimed a set of rollers and crashed hard. After catching his breath, Blake would get up with only minor bruises and ride back to the pits on his own power ending his night.
It was a wild night for Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC as round 5 of the 2019 AMA Supercross season made it’s stop at Petco Park in San Diego, CA this past Saturday night. Justin Bogle used his good starts to get his best finish of the season, while Blake Baggett gained another top-ten finish.

Due to the inclement weather in San Diego, there was only one practice session for riders. Still, Blake Baggett found a fast line through the mud to qualify with the 4th fastest lap time of the day.With perfect gate timing in his heat, Blake would lead the pack into turn one, securing the holeshot. He would then slide back a few positions, but continue to ride strong and stay in 5th to cross the finishline in 5th, Transfering straight to the Main. Another great start from the #4 saw him navigating the first turn inside the top three. Blake would run inside the top five for over half the race, until making a mistake in the deep mud, causing him to go down. He jumpped back on his KTM and ultimatly finished the night inside the top ten, taking 9th place. This moves Blake Bagget up to 5th in the championship points standings.
SoCal SuperTrucks backed Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC -KTM-WPS had a top ten night at round 4 of the 2019 Supercross season inside the Oakland Co. Coliseum in Oakland, CA this past Saturday night. Team riders Blake Baggett rode to his second podium of the season, and Justin Bogle secured his first top ten finish of the year.
Blake Baggett rode fast all through the day on the track at Oakland. In his heat race, he rocketed out of the gate and rounded the first turn ahead of the pack, securing the holeshot. He would go on to lose a couple positions, but continued to ride strong to take the checkered flag in third earning him a transfer straight to the main. Blake’s main event was exciting to say the least! Starting from outside the top ten in 17th place, he set his sights on the front of the pack. He would put on a charge, overtaking riders 1 by 1 ahead of him. The number 4 worked his way from 17th all the way up to 3rd place with 5 minutes left to go in the race! He remained focused and hit all his marks to finish the night in 3rd, picking up his second podium of the year. With four rounds completed, Blake moves to 7th in the championship points standings.
